Our Philosophy

Core Values at Howter Electric Gates LTD

At Howter Electric Gates, we believe in doing things properly from beginning to end — no cutting corners, no unnecessary upselling and no pressure. We aim to be honest, transparent and straightforward in everything we do. What you see is what you get.

Wherever it is safe, practical and economically sensible, we take a repair first approach. An older or faulty gate or access system does not automatically need replacing. Repairs, replacement components, adjustments and preventative maintenance can often extend the useful life of existing equipment.

Safety always comes first. We will never recommend continuing to operate equipment that presents an unacceptable risk. If repairs are no longer economical, parts are unavailable, reliability has become unacceptable or a system can no longer meet current safety requirements, we will explain the options clearly and recommend an appropriate replacement.

We also believe strongly in looking after our customers. Our customers support our business, so we believe loyalty should work both ways. That is why we offer rewards and loyalty schemes to both new and existing customers, recognising those who continue to use our services, return to us for future work and recommend Howter Electric Gates to others.

Too often, companies focus on winning new customers while overlooking the loyal customers who have supported them for years. We believe that has been lost across many industries, and we want to do things differently.

Ultimately, the decision always belongs to the customer. Our role is to provide honest professional advice, clear options and transparent pricing, helping customers make an informed decision without unnecessary pressure.

Our approach is simple:
